ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
The Friburgo cable car, officially called the Teleférico do Suspiro, is located in Praça do Suspiro, in the city center of Nova Friburgo, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The square, which is also a tourist spot in itself, is located at Rua General Sampaio, 245, in the Centro neighborhood.
The cable car is one of Friburgo’s main tourist attractions and one of the most sought-after by visitors. It offers a panoramic view of the city and the region, at an altitude of 1,380 meters, from the top of Morro da Cruz. The ascent takes about 8 minutes and provides a unique experience, allowing you to observe the red roofs of the houses, the cobblestone streets, the lush green mountains, and even Guanabara Bay on clear days.
