Animais – Arthropods

Sumário

CONNECT

There are terrestrial animals, like lions and elephants, aquatic animals, like fish and dolphins, and aerial animals, like eagles and butterflies. Each one has to adapt to its respective living conditions.

Some animals are invertebrates and can be found in many places around the world. They do not have a backbone or spine like vertebrate animals. An example is scorpions, which can be found in various regions of the planet, adapting to different environments. Other examples include butterflies, lobsters, and snails, each with unique characteristics and important roles in their ecosystems. Additionally, arthropods, like insects, spiders, and crustaceans, are also part of this diverse group of invertebrate animals.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

SCORPION

Scorpions are small animals with a segmented body and eight legs. They are found in different parts of the world, usually in hot and dry environments like deserts and tropical forests. Scorpions have a curved tail with a venomous sting at the tip, which they use to hunt insects and protect themselves from predators. Despite their scary reputation, most scorpions are not dangerous to humans, but it is important to be cautious when encountering them. They play an important role in the ecosystem as predators of other insects and arthropods.
