In nature, there are animals with different diets: carnivores and herbivores. Carnivores are those that primarily eat meat, such as lions, tigers, and wolves. They have sharp teeth and strong claws to hunt and capture their prey.

On the other hand, herbivores are animals that primarily eat plants, such as cows, horses, and elephants. They have teeth adapted for chewing leaves, stems, and fruits.

Additionally, there are omnivorous animals, which eat both meat and plants, such as monkeys. These animals have a varied diet that includes fruits, insects, and even small mammals.

It is important to understand and respect the needs of all types of animals, as each plays a vital role in preserving nature and maintaining the balance of our planet.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

MONKEY

Monkeys are intelligent and social primates found in various habitats around the world. They live in groups called troops, establishing social hierarchies and communicating through vocalizations and gestures. With skilled hands and excellent vision, they have a varied diet that includes fruits, leaves, and insects. In addition to playing a vital role as seed dispersers, they are also prey for predators. However, they face threats such as habitat loss and illegal hunting. Conservation of these species is essential to ensure their survival and contribution to global biodiversity.
