GLASSES

Glasses have a rich and evolving history dating back to ancient times, with the earliest evidence of magnifying lenses in the 1st century. In the 13th century, modern glasses were invented in Italy, followed by technological advances over the centuries, such as the introduction of temples and bifocal lenses. Over time, modern materials like plastic and metal were incorporated into the design, making glasses lighter and more aesthetically pleasing. In contemporary times, technological advancements like high-tech lenses, smart glasses, and 3D printing have revolutionized the eyewear industry, offering not only vision correction but also eye protection and additional functionalities. The continuous evolution of glasses reflects the growing importance of eye health and aesthetics, while technological innovation continues to shape the future of this indispensable tool.
