CONNECT

Mathematics is a universal language based on connections and patterns. For example, the decimal system, with its base of 10, reflects our intuitive counting due to the 10 fingers on our hands and feet. Additionally, Mathematics is essential for explaining and predicting natural phenomena, such as lunar cycles and tides, which are fundamental to understanding the world around us.

Over the centuries, Mathematics has evolved in response to societal needs. Since ancient times, it has been crucial for practical matters such as measuring land, calculating time, and planning constructions. This ever-evolving science continues to drive human progress, from space exploration to the development of advanced technologies.

CASH REGISTER

A cash register is an electronic device used in commercial establishments to record and process financial transactions. It serves as a point of sale (POS) system where employees register items purchased by customers and calculate the total to be paid. Cash registers can print receipts for customers and provide detailed sales reports for business owners. Additionally, these devices also help with stock management, inventory control, and basic accounting, making them an essential tool for the efficient operation of retail and service businesses.
