CANOEING
It is a water sport, practiced with a canoe or kayak. Due to its tradition and organization, it is considered one of the main Olympic sports. It originated in Greenland, where canoes were used by Eskimos as fishing and working vessels.
As a sport, canoeing has a short history. It first participated in the Olympic Games in Germany in 1936. Among the various existing disciplines, the following stand out: Freestyle, Ocean Canoeing, Kayak Polo, Marathons, Canoe Sprint, Canoe Slalom. The last two are Olympic disciplines.
