SUMAUMA TREE
Sumaúma or cotton is the largest tree in the Amazon and one of the largest in the world.
This tree manages to draw water from the depths of the soil and bring it not only to supply itself, but also to share with other species, as its roots, known as sapopemba, burst at certain times of the year, irrigating the entire area around it.
