History is the science that studies human actions over time. And invention refers to anything invented and the act of inventing (new ideas or existing objects). The person who dedicates their time to these discoveries is the inventor.
When creation arises from a person’s inventiveness and without concrete precedents, the invention constitutes a great contribution (a great achievement) to human knowledge and may be protected by a patent.
Today, innovations continue to shape the world around us, with advances in areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, renewable energy, transportation, and health.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
CLAW
A claw is a type of tool or device used to grasp, hold, or move objects. It can come in many different shapes and sizes.
It is used to firmly grasp something that needs to be moved, positioned, or manipulated by a machine. It is essential when precision and strength are needed to hold objects securely.
BUILD
As a team, build the Claw prototype. Use the parts available in the structural robotics technology kit. Carefully follow each step of the assembly and testing. All members must actively participate in the process and contribute ideas and solutions.
CONTINUE
After building the prototype, share your experience with your colleagues and answer the following questions:
- Did the manual claw mechanism work?
- What was the most difficult step in the construction process?
