CONECTAR
Art is the act of doing, producing, or creating something. It is a way for human beings to express their emotions, history, and culture through certain aesthetic values such as beauty, harmony, and balance.
It can be represented in many forms, especially in music, sculpture, painting, cinema, dance, among others. Since its emergence thousands of years ago, art has evolved and taken an important place in our society.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
BALLERINA
A ballerina is an artist who expresses herself through dance, especially ballet. She uses her body to tell stories, show emotions, and enchant the audience with grace, strength, and discipline. To achieve this, she trains for many years, developing balance, posture, rhythm, and flexibility.
The ballerina performs some movements such as:
Plié – Bending of the knees, done with feet open in different positions. It is a basic movement that prepares the body for jumps and turns.
Jeté – A jump in the air where the ballerina seems to “fly” from one leg to the other.
Pirouette – A spin of the body around itself, usually done on the tips of the toes.
BUILD
As a team, build a prototype of a ballerina. Use the pieces available in the structural robotics technology kit. Carefully follow each step of the assembly and testing process. All team members must actively participate and contribute ideas and solutions.
CONTINUE
After completing the construction of the prototype, you and your classmates should share your experience by answering the following questions:
- At the end of the assembly, were you able to quickly identify that it was a ballerina?
- Was it easy or difficult to fit the yellow and orange connectors to build the ballerina’s legs?
- What did you think of the head and eyes part of the build? Would you do anything differently?
After finishing the activity, organize the kit pieces and store them in the designated location.
